J. Herbin Calligraphy Set | Turquoise

J. Herbin is the oldest ink company in the world. In the 17th century, at his shop on Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris, J. Herbin created the "Jewel of Inks" collection of inks. J. Herbin inks were created especially for King Louis XVI and were also used by Victor Hugo.

The calligraphy set includes:

— one glass pen,

— Bleu Calanque ink, 10ml capacity,

— Vert De Gris ink, 10ml capacity.

The glass pen is a writing instrument that gained immense popularity in 17th-century Venice. J.Herbin has faithfully recreated this tool for our desks. The pen is handmade from stained glass and is used for writing and decorating. Its unique spiral shape allows for writing on a single page without re-inking.

When the tip becomes slightly blunt, gently rub it on fine sandpaper (e.g. 400 grit).

The inks included in the set are made using only natural, pH-neutral dyes. Each bottle holds 10 ml of ink.

The set is packed in a paper box.
