ystudio Classic Renaissance KAZARI KANAGU Ballpoint Pen | Orchid

Founded in 2012 in Taiwan, the ystudio brand set itself the following goals: to revive memories and make them present in modern life, creating products that would be heirlooms passed down from generation to generation.

Crafted entirely from brass by master craftsmen in local factories in Taiwan, in furnaces heated to temperatures of 1000 degrees Celsius, it has a raw character that serves as a reminder that the products are incredibly unique and durable, just like the people of Taiwan.

The main motif of the Kazari Kanagu ballpoint pen is the orchid, a symbol of elegance in Taiwan. The floral ornament is carved into a copper plate, combined with a vibrant arabesque texture.

The pen was created in collaboration with the Japanese Decorative Metals Factory KAZARIKANAGU TAKEUCHI, which specializes in the production of metal components used in traditional Japanese Buddhist altars, religious articles, shrines and temples.

This intricately crafted pen showcases the history of centuries of Japanese craftsmanship, aiming to convey the spirit of craftsmanship to every user.

The KAZARI KANAGU Orchid ballpoint pen won the Taiwanese Golden Pin Design Award 2023.
