The card is decorated with an illustration of a holly sprig. The illustration comes from the book "Histoire des arbres forestiers de l'Amérique septentrionale" (1813) by

François André Michaux, decorated with drawings by Pierre-Joseph Redouté and Pancrace Bess. François André Michaux spent years researching the flora of North America.

The center of the card is smooth so you can write your own personalized wishes.
