MD Paper Grace Lee Notebook A6 Smooth | Limited Edition 15th
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, MD Paper has created a line of unique products. This series of 15 limited-edition notebooks with embossed covers was created in collaboration with artists from around the world. You can read an interview with Mateusz Urbanowicz, who designed one of the covers, on our blog.
MD Paper products are designed to make writing a pleasure. True to this philosophy, the MD Paper anniversary collection is a series of products of the highest quality, whose minimalist design is captivating. The iconic MD notebooks have been updated with a thicker cover, and a new A7 size, a series of inks, and many other limited-edition products have joined the ranks.
The MD Paper notebook is made from cream-colored MD paper, which is made from just two ingredients: water and wood pulp. The river water used to produce MD paper undergoes refining processes adapted to the seasons and hydrological conditions. However, before it reaches users, it is tested. Its thickness, color, texture, and ink absorption are checked with Japanese precision to ensure the highest quality.
This new version of the iconic notebook features a thicker cover made of MD paper, allowing you to easily write on every page, even the first one. The MD Paper notebook contains 176 smooth A6-sized pages.
When designing the cover for MD Paper, Grace Lee returned to her roots. For an illustrator who primarily uses color in her work, creating a colorless cover design was a challenge. The illustration, created solely with ballpoint pen, is reminiscent of how the artist uses her notebooks daily.
The notebook is sewn, allowing it to open flat. It also has a single red bookmark.
