Colors and Inspiration

• Inspiration: The fifth collection in the series is dedicated to the Japanese tea ceremony – "Cha-no-yu." This ceremony, originating in the 15th century, embodies a profound spirituality and aesthetic rooted in Japanese heritage, engaging all five senses.

• Ink Color: The original Sailor ink color was inspired by Koicha (thick tea). Koicha is matcha that has been thickened with a small amount of hot water and is the culmination of a Japanese ceremony. The ink color captures this unique shade of thick matcha , offering a deep green with potentially complex, earthy tones.
