BLACKWING VOL.192

BLACKWING VOL.192

The limited edition Blackwing Volumes 192 pencils are a tribute to the collaborative work of Paul McCartney and John Lennon.

Since its inception, Blackwing has not only supported creativity but also released successive series of pencils commemorating the achievements of outstanding individuals who have made their mark on art history. Among these figures are Paul McCartney and John Lennon, whose figures probably need no introduction.

Our grandmothers and mothers sang the Beatles' songs, and we still hum some lines to this day, sometimes without even knowing the story behind them. Paul was responsible for the more optimistic set of lyrics, while John's verses are more poetic and melancholic. It's thanks to their collaboration that the British band's songs are so timeless and have endured over the years. Both artists have had an undeniable influence on contemporary music and art, and the Blackwing VOL.192 pencils are a prime example.

Featuring quotes from the most famous songs by the iconic British band "The Beatles," the Blackwing VOL. 192 pencils feature super-hard lead, making them ideal for writing. The series' name refers to the 192 songs the two artists have written together. The white and black elements, connected by a colored prism, visible on each pencil, symbolize the transformation of two powerful creative forces that, despite their different energies, work seamlessly together in the creative process.

The pencils are equipped with super-hard graphite, perfect for writing, and a white eraser in a black lacquered barrel.

The song quotes you will find on each of the 12 pencils come from the following songs:
