This is a brief description of the history of the British brand, known to the greatest lovers of handwriting in the world, and its pens can even be found in the famous Harrods in London!
It all began in London, where Tom observed his wife, Gemma, using cheap plastic pens for calligraphy. Gemma had been writing calligraphy since she was twelve, and Tom decided to create a tool specifically for her, one that would reflect her passion and skill, one that would stay with Gemma for years to come.

He turned his first fountain pen from brass and Corian on his father-in-law's sixty-year-old lathe. The pen captivated Gemma, as did others who saw it. So much so that, thanks to the orders, Tom spent the next six months practically confined to his father-in-law's garage, working evenings and weekends on each new fountain pen. These fountain pen designs found buyers across the UK and beyond. Eventually, Tom resigned, and he and Gemma moved from London to Dorset to create fountain pens together and raise their daughter, who had been born in the meantime.
Thanks to Tom's persistence and enthusiasm, constant development and obsession with detail, as well as the best pen tester in Gemma, the small home workshop grew into the brand we know today as Tom's Studio.

The constant pursuit of perfection has become the motto of their manufacture – Tom isn't interested in ordinary products; everything he creates must be better than what's already available on the market. All writing instruments created by Tom must have a soul that, in his opinion, cannot be found in mass-produced products. Tom hasn't lost his creative streak and continues to experiment with various techniques and materials, and his dream is to create writing instruments that will be enjoyed by generations.

Tom's Studio offers not only fountain pens, calligraphy pens, and nibs, but also ink-filled fineliners with replaceable nibs, inks, and accessories for learning to write beautifully with a fountain pen. All of this is still prepared in the intimate workshop, where Tom and Gemma share the roles of manufacturer, tester, supplier, and customer service specialist.

Isn't it wonderful that so often behind the pen you hold in your hand there is an extraordinary story that begins with people's love for writing and... for each other?
