The history of the Shachihata brand dates back to 1925. The Japanese brand with traditions began its operations with the production of Xstamper stamps.

The name comes from the Japanese Shachi or Shachihoko - a mythical creature with the body of a carp and the head of a tiger.

The pad contains quick-drying oil-based ink in coral color.

The ink spreads very easily on stamps and does not bleed through most papers.
