TACCIA Ukiyo-e Ink | Hokusai-nakahanada
- Description
Nakahanada – a saturated, medium blue with a cool green tint, close to the indigo shade used in classic woodblock prints – is one of eight colors in the TACCIA Ukiyo-e Ink | Katsushika Hokusai collection, inspired by the famous series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. This color evokes the vast sky and the depth of the ocean from the iconic composition The Great Wave off Kanagawa – a work that made Hokusai an artist recognized worldwide.
