TACCIA Ukiyo-e Ink | Hokusai-rikancha
- Description
Rikancha — a warm, grey-green brown inspired by the color of ceremonial tea, close to the wabi-sabi aesthetic — is one of eight colors in the TACCIA Ukiyo-e Ink | Katsushika Hokusai collection, inspired by the series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. The muted, earthy hue evokes autumn slopes and pine forests in the background of Hokusai's compositions — spaces that the artist drew from silence and harmony, creating a contrast to the dynamic foregrounds.
