TACCIA Ukiyo-e Ink | Kuniyoshi-Kuro-Midori
- Description
Kuromidori — a deep, dark green with a hint of black — is one of eight colors in the TACCIA Ukiyo-e Ink | Utagawa Kuniyoshi collection, inspired by the ukiyo-e woodblock prints of the Japanese master of the late Edo period. The color refers to the dark, dramatic palette of Kuniyoshi's works: gigantic skeletons, fantastic yokai (Japanese mythical creatures, spirits, and demons), and bold compositions that set him apart from other artists of the era.
