Washi tape | Stamps: Spooky Day
- Description
A Spooky Day, or the Everyday Life of Ghosts
Even ghosts have their quiet afternoons. They lounge in meadows, peer longingly through windows, and sometimes choose a skull over a comfortable armchair. The Washi Tape Stamps: A Spooky Day by Jon Turner Illustration offers a glimpse into this unusual everyday life in ten miniature scenes. Instead of grand scares, there is contemplation, quiet humor, and plenty of ghostly charm.
Jon Turner created the illustrations using a pen and ink. They have been reproduced on the tape with meticulous attention to detail, while the vertical format and perforations evoke collectible postage stamps. Each scene tells a brief wordless story.
Choose a ghost to match the mood of your page
A day for dreaming? Choose the ghost by the window. A moment of respite? Reach for the meadow scene. A motif cut from the tape can become a small comment on a diary entry or a surprising detail on a list for a loved one. A longer strip can create an illustrated border in a scrapbook, while several scenes placed side by side allow you to create your own gallery of ghostly customs.
The tape can be applied in sections or cut into individual miniature stickers. Its characters will fit right in with Halloween projects, but their everyday affairs do not end with October.
