BUNGUBOX x Esterbrook Fountain Pen | Kachofugetsu Flower

Return of the limited series inspired by Somei Yoshino blossoms!

"Kachofugetsu" — flower, bird, wind, moon — is a Japanese word describing the appreciation of nature's beauty. This idea gave birth to the four-part BUNGUBOX x Esterbrook series, and its first chapter is Flower — a model that returns in a limited edition after selling out instantly.

The pen body is made of translucent, crystalline acrylic in shades of delicate pink, inspired by the blossoming Somei Yoshino cherry tree. Subtle, "cracked" reflections in the material create an effect reminiscent of light shining through sakura petals — light, ethereal, and full of harmony. This pen looks like a moment of spring bloom frozen in acrylic.

The gold #6 JOWO nib is adorned with an engraving of the Japanese character for "flower," emphasizing the symbolism of the entire series. The set also includes a special converter with a cherry blossom petal print, which looks beautiful when paired with light, spring inks.

This is Esterbrook's first collaboration with the legendary Japanese store BUNGUBOX — and an edition that has already disappeared from the market once. Its return is a unique opportunity for collectors and lovers of Japanese aesthetics. "Flower" opens a cycle that "Bird," "Wind," and "Moon" will continue.
