Sailor Fude de Mannen Fountain Pen | Purple | Limited Edition
The Sailor Fude de Mannen celebrates its 30th anniversary this year – the model, first introduced in November 1995, has achieved cult status thanks to its distinctive fude nib. The delicate confetti motif has been screen-printed onto the barrel.
The model's secret is a nib bent at a 40° angle, which makes it easier to create brushstroke effects even for those who struggle with classic brush pens. The variable holding angle of the pen allows for free adjustment of line thickness: vertically – a thin line, at a greater angle – a wide and expressive line. This makes the Fude de Mannen a popular choice not only for writing but also for drawing and working with colored inks.
The nib is made of gold-plated stainless steel, and the barrel from ABS resin. The pen supports cartridges and converters, offering flexibility in ink choice. The 30th Anniversary commemorative logo symbolically refers to the contrast between thin and thick lines, which the characteristic nib design enables.
