Hobonichi Techo 2027 Original (A6) | Hiroko Kubota: String Telephone Until the Moon is Full | English Edition

The original illustration by Hiroko Kubota depicts a gentle, spacious meadow at dusk on the cover. A cat with closed eyes listens through a tin can telephone, and on the other end of the string, a wolf speaks softly with a warm expression. Between them, on the stretched thread, a mouse rides a unicycle back and forth. Behind them, the horizon stretches endlessly, a Ferris wheel slowly turns, and a white, silver crescent moon hangs just before full. The year 2027 and the HON logo on the front and spine are embossed with a matte silver foil that subtly shimmers against the vast, gradient sky.

Material and details

• Paper: Iconic Tomoe River — incredibly thin and light, yet surprisingly durable. Its smooth, almost silky surface is a pure pleasure for fountain pens — inks do not bleed through, and colors appear exceptionally saturated. Thread-stitched binding.
• Cover: Hardcover made of high-quality paper with a glossy protective laminate
• Dedicated 5mm grid writing boards have been created for the HON series — sold separately.
