minä perhonen is a brand that creates timeless, completely original clothing fabrics — specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn patterns. Founded in 1995 by designer Akira Minagawa under the name minä, it was renamed minä perhonen in 2003. In Finnish, "minä" means "I", and "perhonen" means "butterfly", expressing the dream of creating designs as light and beautiful as the flutter of a butterfly's wing.

The pattern of this cover is called "felice" — birds and butterflies nestled among flowers, as if the very existence of every creature is a celebration of life. The fabric delights with its depth — the folk character of the woodcut print and the play of light and shadow created by the embroidery make the pattern mesmerizing.

• Fabric: Soft cotton and wool blend embroidered with blue thread — a pleasant texture you feel under your fingertips.
• Interior and Butterfly-Stopper: Both in light blue — a consistent, harmonious composition.
• Two ribbon bookmarks: Finished with small embroidered beads strung like pearls.

Functionality and details

• "Butterfly-Stopper" closure: Double pen loops — by threading the clip or body of your pen through both loops, you prevent the cover from accidentally opening during transport. The loops accommodate pens with a diameter of up to 13.5 mm.
• Pocket system: 5 smaller pockets for cards and business cards, a long flat compartment for receipts and tickets, and a large outer pocket on the back for quick-access documents.
