The name of the Alettone series refers to an aircraft wing's flap — the cover flap folds smoothly and elegantly like a wing in flight. The "Sweets" version is filled with colorful illustrations of sweets — melon cream soda, donuts, cupcakes, and other treats. The sentence "Writing by hand is like sending your mind on a journey" is embossed in silver foil on the surface. The mint-green flap has a subtle texture that gives it a soft and delicate feel.
