Hobonichi 5-Year Techo 2027-2031 A5 | Japanese Edition

Five years in one notebook — in a large A5 format. Hobonichi 5-Year Techo A5 is an enlarged version of the iconic 5-year diary, offering as many as 352 grid squares for each day — twice as many as the A6 version. The cover is made of natural material in a warm, brown shade with gold foil embossed details. The texture resembles a dictionary: it fits naturally in the hand and is durable enough to be used without an additional cover.

The diary comes in a turquoise paper box, with an included test sheet to check the performance of various pens on Tomoe River paper.

Page Layout

• Left side of the spread: date and day of the week for each of the 5 years — the rest of the space is completely blank. Each day offers 352 grid squares — enough space to meticulously document each day. Holidays and lunar dates are not marked.
• Right side of the spread: completely blank space — for notes, inserts, or content you want to revisit over the years.
• Daily quotes: one quote per spread, carefully selected from the Hobonichi website archives (in Japanese).
• Grid: 3.7 mm — identical to the Hobonichi Techo Cousin, on cream paper with a subtle, dark gray grid.

Material and Details

• Paper: Iconic Tomoe River — exceptionally thin, lightweight, and durable. Thanks to its exceptionally smooth surface, it absorbs fountain pen ink beautifully without bleeding through to the other side. Thread-bound.
• Main material: PVC / paper.
