Hobonichi Blotting Paper | Moomin is made using the letterpress printing technique — each piece has a distinct texture and subtle variations in ink coverage, making each one unique and full of character. The thick, quick-drying, and highly absorbent paper instantly soaks up excess ink — preventing smudging and transfer to subsequent pages. The blotting papers can also serve as elegant notepads for short messages.

The front of each sheet features an illustration from The Moomins and the Great Flood — a novel by Tove Jansson. It depicts Moominpappa diligently writing a play script, with Moominmamma watching over him with concern. Below the illustration is a slogan in Finnish: "Write as much as you like."
