Clairefontaine Quintessence Basic A5 notebook
Clairefontaine gained its fame by being the first brand to create school notebooks in France.
The brand opened a paper factory in 1858 and began producing stationery products in 1890. Today, it is the first manufacturer in Europe to create its own paper for its products and a symbol of the highest quality. The brand honors tradition while simultaneously keeping up with the times and meeting the needs of today's users. This is best demonstrated by the fact that all products are created from start to finish in harmony with the environment, as Clairefontaine manages hundreds of hectares of French forests and actively participates in their sustainable development.
Quintessence notebooks were created by designer and illustrator Edith Duprez-Chenu, who specializes in watercolors.
Clairefontaine Quintessence notebooks feature 64 pages of premium, ivory-toned, lined Clairefontaine paper. This recycled, acid-free paper has a very smooth texture. It works perfectly with pencils, ballpoint pens, and fountain pens, and ink.
The notebook is bound in a cover with plant illustrations and a sewn spine.
