Kuretake Watercolor Masking Marker | 1.0 mm
Kuretake's marker contains a water-based masking fluid in a delicate, light gray shade, which facilitates precise tracing of applied layers. It effectively protects paper from the effects of watercolor paints, ink, and water without interfering with the color composition process.
Because the marker acts as a temporary protective coating, you can focus on painting without worrying about accidentally staining details you want to keep in their original white.
The marker comes with a replaceable tip of the same size.
How to use:
1. To use the product, gently press the tip against the paper to soak the tip in masking fluid. At the same time, be careful not to damage the tip.
2. Test the product on a sample sheet to familiarize yourself with its performance. Product properties may vary depending on the paper type.
3. Apply the product to the appropriate sheet as previously planned, and then paint it with watercolors.
4. Once the color has dried, remove the masking fluid with an eraser.
5. Remember! The longer the masking fluid remains on the paper, the harder it will be to remove.
The masking marker has a 1.0 mm (fine) tip, which is the most precise, sharp-edged and ideal for masking thin lines and ornaments.
