Hobonichi A6 Notebook | Lines

The notebook has 240 pages of extremely thin Japanese Tomoe River paper, squared at 8 mm intervals.

The line design was developed by Professor Haruo Hibino and his team of researchers at BB STONE Design Psychology Unit, Inc., a venture capital company of the Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University.

Lined paper is unique in that the horizontal lines that crisscross the page are interrupted by short vertical lines that create a subtle grid.

The line design is easy on the eyes during long writing sessions and also allows for smooth writing of words and diagrams.

Thanks to its properties, this paper has been appreciated by fountain pen users because, despite its weight (52g/m2), the ink does not bleed through to the other side.

The notebook has a hard paper cover with a reinforced spine, so it always lies flat, ensuring high writing comfort.

The Hobonichi Plain Notebook A6 is exactly the same size as the Hobonichi Techo Planner, so it can be used with Hobonichi covers.
