The name of the Alettone cover refers to an aircraft wing's aileron. The design was inspired by the way the cover flap folds smoothly and elegantly, like a wing in flight. The subdued gray color gives it a minimalist chic, combining functionality with a light form.

A unique detail is the gold foil embossed sentence: "Writing by hand is like sending your mind on a journey." The cover flap has a subtle leather-like texture, giving it a pleasant tactile feel.
