Caran d'Ache Grafwood F Pencil

Caran d'Ache Grafwood is a series of graphite pencils dedicated to artists, students of art schools and draftsmen.

The high-quality lead, a combination of graphite and chalk, is housed in a hexagonal, FSC-certified cedarwood body. The body is painted gray with gold trim.

Made from a blend of graphite and chalk, Grafwood pencils come in a variety of graphite shades, depending on their softness. The hardest 4H pencil is also the grayest, while the softest 9B graphite has a rich black color. The shade selection is made easier by the color of the varnish on the barrel, which matches the shade of the graphite.
