After exactly one hundred years of absence, the Leuchtturm1917 brand brings back a unique writing instrument: the Drehgriffel ballpoint pen, which immediately won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2020, and shortly after creates a one-of-a-kind mechanical pencil!

The instrument is made of a combination of steel and aluminum, which makes it solid and fits comfortably in the hand.

The body is covered with a durable varnish in colors corresponding to the colors of the Leuchtturm1917 notebooks.

The pencil has a hexagonal white body with a conical grip section and a rotating twist tip that ejects a contrasting colored lead.

Powered by 0.7 mm thick graphite styluses.
