Wancher Kaleido Fountain Pen | Pink

Pink inspired by cherry blossoms

The Wancher Kaleido Pink (Wazakura) evokes the short blooming season of Japanese cherry blossoms. The pink color scheme brings this inspiration to the dodecagonal barrel, whose polished surfaces showcase the depth of the acrylic. It is a distinctive accent for everyday notes, letter writing, and journaling.

Form instead of a classic cylinder

Kaleido was created as a project commemorating Wancher's tenth anniversary. The twelve edges refer to sunbeams, cedars, and the pillars of traditional Japanese architecture. The acrylic is hand-cut and polished multiple times to combine distinct geometry with a smooth finish. The wide barrel is paired with a narrower grip section, comfortable for longer writing sessions.

Details for everyday writing

The pen is equipped with a gold-plated JoWo #6 steel nib, available in F and M variants. The screw-on, tight cap helps reduce ink drying. The extended thread connecting the barrel to the section requires several turns when unscrewing the pen for filling. You can use cartridges or a converter in the European international standard; both accessories are included.
