Shogei Kuretake is Kuretake's classic ink series dedicated to traditional Japanese calligraphy (Shodō). This particular variant, Shikon (Dark Purple), is characterized by a rich, deep black color with a subtle purple tint that becomes visible depending on the paper and light intensity.

This is a liquid ink, ready for immediate use, intended for both practice and the creation of exhibition works.

• Shikon Deep Color: This ink offers intense, high-contrast blacks. The name "Shikon" (紫紺) literally means "purple/dark indigo," translating to a deep, purplish-black hue highly prized in calligraphy for its elegant character.
